Lots of tasks and hours of fun! Enjoyed it. Can we have the sequel? :)

After 6 hours of gaming, I've completed Legends of the East: The Cobra's Eye and I guess, during those 6 hours I must have completed a million tasks to help me get to Daniel and the gem. :) The sheer number of tasks and puzzles made it one of the most heavily-loaded game I have played in a while. Each scene has around 6-7 tasks and then there are the HO scenes (to be played twice) and the puzzles. It was worth it. The game had abundant movies in between to take the story forward. Though I don't like interruptions during gameplay, I made an exception in this case as the movies had good content. :) The developers should have tried livening up the characters some more. No lip movements? That was odd. The voice-acting was terrific and was well-done. :) The game may find it hard to match the production values of the top of the league titles. But I'd strongly recommend that you give this one a shot to prove its mettle. You might come home pleasantly surprised. :) You just might love it like the way I did. Can we expect a sequel soon?

Another great game

It is my practice to play every Collector Edition game offered and, in fact, I have bought almost every one of them. But not all of them are just right. Legend of the East is. I love games which are well done, have beautiful graphics and places to visit and just sparkle with fun. Legends of the East does. I recommend it highly.

Outstanding!!!

Just from the demo, I'm impressed. I would buy this game because, after a long wait for a thrilling game, I got the game which meets my expectation and it is simply outstanding. For me, it was a visual treat with beautiful worlds and simple and challenging HOG's and puzzles. You are 'Catherine' and you have to find Daniel and Antonio and you have to face some challenges. Good luck.

Just what I like!!

This game was perfect for me. The storyline was good, with some twists not expected. Though you did have to move around a bit much (no map to transport you) it wasn't too bad, and the transitions were very quick. It played well, and was a nice long game, but I kept playing because I wanted to see what happened next! The bonus chapter was well done, too. I liked that the hint button helped a lot!! HOS's were a bit easy, but it didn't distract from the game. Mini-games were good, too. Overall I really enjoyed playing this one. Can't wait to see what they do next!

Engaging Story; Loved the Characters and the Rich in-game Mythology!

I am not essentially what many would regard as an expert in hidden object games. But I?ve played a couple of these adventures and have been fascinated by them ever since I tried Dark Strokes: Sins of Our Fathers. ? I loved the storyline of that game and it?s something which I have always followed in every title that I have played since then ? the story and the characters. Legends of the East: The Cobra?s Eye caught my attention because of the reviews that positively commented on these two aspects and after completing both the main game and the bonus game, I am pleased to note that this game has a story which someone should seriously consider making into a movie. :) Vasco da Gama?s lost ship, a legendary artifact, an ancient lore, winged warriors from other worlds, a flying temple, enormous serpents, vigilantes, a resurrection angle, a redemption sidetrack ? the game has managed to add in loads of richness into its layers and it all seamlessly flows in to create the world of Legends of the East: The Cobra?s Eye. You have these amazing characters who have distinguishing personalities. Catherine is slightly haughty. Yet we love her sense of humour even in the face of clear and present danger. Daniel started off as an irresponsible man (the kind who we are familiar with ;)) obsessed with his own goals, then we discover the more tender side of him and in the bonus adventure we also get see how he steps up to save the woman he loves. I loved the way the developers wound up everything, tying up all the loose strings so that by the time we sit back after completing the game, we feel a sense of closure. Brownie points to the developers for what comes next! They have this line up of good-looking guys ? Daniel and Clive with their disarming charm and Antonio with his dignified demeanour! I also took a liking for Asgar ? the temple priest. ;) Oh...they should have shown us Victor?s face! I?m certain that he would have been quite an eyecandy! Loved his voice! :) The villains are at the top of th

Gamester

Ok this game was excellent in every catigory except for maybe voice overs since no ones mouth moved like some games I have played but as for the story, the length of the game, HOS's, mini games, graphics and all that were involved made this a fun and challenging yet enjoyable game. I look forward to more games like this one.

Legends of the East 'The Cobras Eye'

this was GREAT, Fantastic and mind consuming. I want more of the games. This game keeps you sharp eyed and very intriguing. Mind boggling and spell bound. Great story line. Bring on more. please.

I study literature in uni and I found this game transcends most prose

Wow. I cannot fully express how riveting this story is and how riveting the animations and voice acting is. I thought the puzzles were challenging -- almost too challenging but in an enjoyable sense -- and I look forward to learning more about the lore in the sequel.

HIGH QUALITY GAMING!

I wasn't going to buy another BFG game for a long while until this new release! Catherine is a strong-willed and determined woman. A great responsibility has been placed on her shoulders through Daniel, the man she loves. Great acting and voices! Immediately fell in love with Daniel, Catherine and Antonio! Played Advanced Level. Deep, rich colors, spellbinding musical scores and lots to do in every scene! There is so much to the game and no annoying morphing objects! Yay! Much prefer gameplay--hidden objects, puzzles, a mesmerizing plot, with an explosion of colors and talented artwork. Journal is not too wordy and shows your objectives as well as an interesting storyline is depicted. Interactive Map shows active zones that is very helpful with so many scenes and so much to do. You are given a Cryptic Disk that scans scenes for needed symbols. This truly heartfelt lovestory is packed with adventure, puzzles and fun gaming. Turn the volume up, the lights down low and enjoy! MANY THANKS & WELCOME TO CHA YO WO GAMES! -Mama Mia-

Once you get past the initial non-trial glitch, this is GREAT FUN!

When I saw the very mixed reaction to this game, I knew out of curiosity I had to check it out to understand why the extreme differences. The first impression was poor because the trial version kept saying failed installation no matter how many times I tried uninstalling and re-installing and then my trial period was up even though I hadn't yet played the game! I decided to purchase it anyway. After buying the game, I had no issues playing it. Was this a ploy to get people to purchase it without trying the game? The experience of playing the game (once I got past the above bad impressions) is that it is wonderful! At last, fewer of the annoying HOS (which I always click through as fast as I can to get rid of them clogging up most games)! Instead, lots of very enjoyable puzzles with some unique aspects. Even the untying the strings game was great because it had an unusual twist to make it more fun. Another thing I like is that there are many more puzzles in each location, so, more fun, fun, fun. Also, the men are GORGEOUS and they are all fine actors with beautiful voices. I wish they came like that in real life. Sigh... The graphics are exceptional. The music good. I am happy with everything else so far. Now back to playing the game...
