I Hope There Will Be aTwig 3!!!

I can't say enough great things about my experiences with this game! Since there I'm only the 3rd person to review it, it's clear that not enough people know about the game. I love the contrast between the peaceful music and the excitement of the game... particularly at each new level. I really love the challenge of this game. I thoroughly enjoy all of the scenes and settings, and the challenging twists I encounter as the game progresseses. When I first saw the game on the site, I nearly overlooked it because "What", I thought, "could be so exciting about twigs!" Well, desiring something new and different, I cast all assumptions about the game aside and gave it a try. WOW, was I ever delightedly amazed! After 6 or so weeks of playing the game, I'm amazed at how I fall more and more in love with it each time I play it. I can't imagine ever growing bored of Twig 2.... And as much as I enjoy my adventure games, I occasionally desire something fun and different. This is a great "wind down" game... Great when I just want to chill out and challenge myself in a relaxing way... It's also been great playing it when I need a little break from my studies and menial housework. Some need their chocolate, others their icecream, but Twig is the treat for me! Last Word: I hope the game gets promoted more so that more people can enjoy it... but also, I want the game's developers to launch a Twig 3!

A Pipe-Like Building Game

I love pipe builder games & I am not sure where I found the recommendation for this game, though I know it was here on BFG forums. This game uses hollow *Twigs* in place of pipes. Instead of filling just one screen, the screen scrolls upwards as you complete areas. You have a hero to help you & different heroes have different skills. I recommend using the first one on the left (knight?) to start, as he seemed the easiest. Read the help section before starting as well & you will be off to a good start. Also, there are more twig varieties than I've ever seen in a pipe game! I love the twist on pipe building games & would really love to see more like this. The visuals were a bit 'old school', but it felt right for the game. Love that there are 3 characters to play as, as it will give great replay value. I bought it as soon as the trial was over.

I love this game

Its fun, It entertains me. Ive bought it twice now.

Addictive game!

I didn't expect much from this game, and thought it looked a bit naff. Still, I downloaded the demo and soon got so hooked I used a well-spent credit on the full version! If you like Tetris and 'pipe-building' games, then you really should try the demo. It's a simple concept: join the twigs, build upwards, and do it quickly. I'm going to be very tired at work tomorrow, it's late and I can't leave the game alone!

Fun But Difficult

Okay, let me try to figure out how to even BEGIN to tell you about this game. The premise of it is generally how you would play a pipe game. Just as you have different shapes of pipes and need to find ways to connect them appropriately, so you must do with twigs. Graphics are well suited to the game. Twigs looks like golden twigs and there always seem to be spaceships that have to take off so be careful where you put a "stop" twig. I didn't get the whole "magic", "defense", "luck" and percentages aspect. I also didn't get how the 3 characters - "knight", girl (not sure what she was, sorry) and the goblin and how these percentages affected their ability to help you or not. So, for THOSE reasons the game was very difficult for me, although fun. Your twigs connect all the way up the screen and then some. But, in the meantime, you can only place one useless twig on the conveyor belt once every very slow 15 seconds. A LOT can happen on the conveyor belt that is sending you twigs in that same 15 seconds though. Your character has a weapon that can break the twigs coming toward you on the conveyor belt but I don't get how it works because sometimes you can smash a bunch of useless twigs and at other times the weapon can't smash at all. So, all in all a very confusing game - for me. I stress - for me. Because I'm sure everyone else who plays this game will love it and have no problems. If it weren't for all the extras (yes, I know that's what makes up the game) I would have been fine just building my twigs up and up and up with no interference whatsoever. This is more of a strategic and time management game than any other type. This Glam-ma says if it were just the twigs and nothing else I probably would have purchased this game. However, I really think you should give the hour free trial a try because it is a fun little game. Happy Gaming.
